Image via WikipediaHi all,
This is an important election message from the Australian Greens.
Have you seen this ad? Since it went to air on ABC's Gruen Nation on Wednesday night, our office has been inundated with phone calls asking us to put it on air. Like our other ads this election, it's a positive message about Greens values on the issues that matter - and people love it.
We took your suggestions to heart and asked the ABC for permission to use the ad. Unfortunately, they couldn't do that. But Greens supporters are "glass half full" kind of people - and just because we can't show it to people on TV doesn't mean that, with your help, we can't show it to the same number of people online.
You can view the ad yourself here:
Throughout the campaign we've had a great response, buzz and debate around all of our TV ads, which are so different from the usual political spin. And with the help of thousands of individuals making small donations, we've now raised more than $100,000 to buy additional TV, print and online advertising. Now we can spread this latest ad online, to friends and family and reach even more people.
Thanks for all you're doing this election,
Ebony Bennett, National Campaign Manager, Australian Greens.
